The Torah of Joy

Continuing Education: The Torah of Joy
Taught by Rabbi Ilan Glazer

Are we meant to be happy? Does God want us to smile all the time? How does Jewish wisdom help us find joy? Why does it sometimes get in the way of our doing so?

Using wisdom from Jewish tradition, along with insights from positive psychology, recovery, coaching, music, and the world of storytelling, this class invites you into perhaps the deepest question of all – in a world filled with so much pain and sadness, how might we find happiness? Is it even possible? How might we identify and overcome the obstacles to living a life of joy?

This class will leave you with practical techniques to increase the amount of joy in your life. If you’re looking to turn your oys into joys, join us for 7 weeks of learning, discussion, and fun.
